30,000 views?!  Really?  I can't even picture the reality of that number.  Thanks to everyone out there who follows.  I can't even understand this.  It's really exciting to share and discover work in this platform and I'm very thankful for it.  This year has been really wonderful.  I should do something on here to celebrate.  Cheers world!

My dogs

I have photos of my dogs up at work so I did a drawing of them.  They are such a contrasting pair.

60 second Giraffe in New York

My friend Natalie told me what to draw.  Tried to do it in about 60 seconds.

I will never be good and that's not bad

I'm really opening up the floodgates for me posting nothing but fan art on here.  I had better be careful  Ha ha.
Wreck It Ralph is a really special film to me, for many reasons.  It was really exciting to be at Disney at the time of the films release.  I did the second sketch below not too long after seeing the movie for the first time.  I always thought it would be fun do do a poster design with it.  I took a stab at it last night.  I think I like the original sketch better but I couldn't replicate the line in photoshop.  I still had fun.

I've really enjoyed this series.  I haven't tried drawing Sherlock/Cumberbatch before.  I don't think I pushed the drawing as far as I'd like.  I'll take a crack at him again some time.

I've been pretty sick the last three days.  This goblin named Schnork has been clamped to my head the whole time.  He makes it very hard to work and breathe.  I wish he would leave already.

Waiter vs. Spider

Trying to stay loose and strengthen my drawings.  It's a challenge to know when to stop fussing over the drawing, and let the storytelling shine through.  This is just one of a bunch I did before bed.  I felt like this one is somewhat successful.

Just trying some things.

B is for Bear

Trying to think of a theme for a series of drawings.  The alphabet is always a good place to start right?

Squiggle warmup

I used to play the squiggle game all the time.  I need to do this more.  It is such a healthy exercise.  I want to force myself to post more on my blog, and a friend suggested I adopt some posting rituals.  Maybe Saturday Squiggle?  Would also love to do Fanart Friday.  Anywho...
I think this guy might be a vampire or something.

Super quick Superman sketch

I just got a new Cintiq!  I use one at work, but it's the older model.  I'm still getting used to this thing.  It's an incredible piece of hardware.  I thought I'd get some practice with Sketchbook Pro again, and ended up drawing good old Superman.  Line and color in SBP, with final touches in Photoshop.  I still haven't seen the new movie.  This was just out of my head.  That's all.

Trumpet and Cat

This is a painting I donated to Kitt Crusaders Inc., a non-profit animal rescue organization.  Their Cinco de Mayo (Cinco de Gato) Fundraiser is this Sunday.

Here's a bad scan and a bad photo...but you get the idea.

I'm planning on getting back to regular posts soon, as I'm in the middle of building a proper home studio. Life has been very busy lately but also very exciting. Stay tuned.
